Metal trellis panels are designed to have their legs pushed into the soil and then be attached to a garden wall, fence etc and then to provide a support for your climbing plants. They come In a wide variety of attractive designs so that when your climbing plants are immature or have died down for winter the trellis is still an attractive feature in your garden. When attaching to a wall use spacers to give an inch or so clearance between the panel and the wall.
